Short-term global natural gas liquids (NGLs) production has defied declines in the major supply basins of the US and Middle East.
This sector’s strength will come from sharp rises over the past five years that will continue into the medium-term time frame in associated natural gas production that slakes export demand as well as growing domestic consumption that has seen several countries modestly increase their local production capabilities.
New refinery additions, particularly in the east of Suez, will further add onto the global LPG supply pool, but these will be increasingly dwarfed by resurgent field production.
In this webinar, Head of NGLs Samantha Hartke and Oil Products Analyst Ciaran Tyler discuss these and other findings from our recent Five-Year Outlook for NGLs report, which we have released as a companion to the new global NGLs supply data service.
